Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise

Founded in 2004, Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise specializes in the processing of manganese raw materials and the production of manganese concentrate for the metallurgical industry.

Manganese concentrate is crucial for producing various types of alloys used as alloying additives in the production of high-grade steel.

  • The enterprise consists of two key divisions: the Transportation Column and the Tur Mine, both equipped with beneficiation complexes where manganese ores are processed into high-quality commercial products.
  • The Tur deposit has been mined since 1997 using the open-pit method. Over 26 years, the enterprise has extracted 13.7 million tons of manganese ore and processed nearly 76 million cubic meters of rock mass. However, due to the depletion of manganese ore reserves, mining operations were halted in 2023. In line with its commitment to sustainable resource management, the company has shifted focus to processing previously mined ores, utilizing modern beneficiation technologies.
  • Today, Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise is dedicated to processing manganese ore and enriching fine screenings, enabling the production of over 100,000 tons of manganese concentrate annually for Kazchrome’s ferroalloy plants.
  • Operations are conducted on a rotational basis, and the enterprise adheres to the quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency policies set by “TNC “Kazchrome” JSC.
100,000 TONS PER YEAR – THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF THE PROCESSING COMPLEXES.
250 EMPLOYEES – DEDICATED TO ORE PROCESSING AND BENEFICIATION SERVICES.
  • Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise offers a comprehensive social benefits package to its employees, which includes medical care and measures for the prevention of occupational diseases. The company also organizes summer recreational activities for employees' children.
  • The enterprise places a strong emphasis on corporate events, fostering a sense of community and engagement among its workforce. Employees participate in professional skill competitions, youth scientific and technical conferences, Spartakiads, KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive), as well as tourism events and creative contests.
